Have you ever called or texted someone accidentally? It's never a good situation. Especially if it's someone you don't want to talk to.
Here's how to prevent accidentally making a phone call or sending a text message on your iPhone:
- Put in standby by pressing the Sleep/Wake button (upper right side of newer iPhones and on the top right of iPhone 5).
- Add a passcode by going to Settings > Touch ID and Passcode. Set up a simple 4 digit passcode. It will make your phone more secure too.
- Disable Siri when your iPhone is locked by going to Settings > Touch ID and Passcode, Allow Access When Locked Section and turn off Siri.
If you're having trouble with this problem, you can start by putting your iPhone in standby whenever it's in your pocket or purse. If that doesn't work, try the other options.
